Suriti is a dual qualified attorney (California and India) and the co-founding partner of Saaz Partners LLP, a regulatory and technology focused law firm based in Delhi, India.

Suriti is the lead of the Technology, Commercial and IPR Practice for the firm. She completed her B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from NLIU, Bhopal and then gained her Master’s in Technology Law (Dean’s List) from University of California, Berkeley. She is also a Certified Privacy Professional for the US, awarded so by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

She worked with Khaitan & Co., Delhi and at the Chambers of Mr Senthil Jagadeesan, Senior Advocate, at the Supreme Court of India in the early days of her career. While in California, she worked with Bonterms on drafting balanced standardised commercial contracts, then at the Berkeley’s LifeSciences Lab, where she worked on AI and IP issues. She continued her journey in California with KidSAFE Seal (United States FTC’s Safe Harbor Program), where she worked on privacy and safety issues surrounding children and the digital spaces they occupy.

While, Suriti has diverse experience in the technology and start-up space, she feels deeply passionate about making work spaces safer for women. For this reason, she has been extremely vocal about the applicability and complexities of the POSH Act. She has counselled multiple women on it. Currently, Suriti is an external member on multiple POSH committees of private entities and has had experience with the Supreme Court POSH Committee as well. She regularly conducts POSH trainings for PSUs, private entities and educational institutions. She has drafted POSH policies and issued advisories on the POSH Act as well.
